Mobile Terminal Wireless Charging Group Standard Consultation Meeting Held In Beijing

The China Electronics Standardization Institute and the China Communications Industry Association held a discussion forum on the “Group Mobile Phones for Wireless Charging” standard solicitation in Beijing. This standard is China's first mobile terminal wireless charging standard and is applicable to wireless charging transmitters and receivers in the fields of audio and video, information technology, and communication technology equipment. The China Electronics Standardization Institute, as the lead agency for the development of the standard, is responsible for the development of the four parts of safety, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental adaptability and performance of the standard.

      According to the group standard work plan formulated by the preparation working group, this meeting mainly discusses the opinions received from the participating companies. The standard has received extensive attention from the industry during the consultation stage. The meeting has handled each of the nearly 300 feedbacks received from the draft standard.

      Conference on "Mobile Terminal Wireless Charging Part 1: Security" "Mobile Terminal Wireless Charging Part 2: Electromagnetic Compatibility" "Mobile Terminal Wireless Charging Part 3: Environmental Adaptability" "Mobile Terminal Wireless Charging Part 4: Performance Discussed and made arrangements for the follow-up work of the group standards. The preparation team will form a solicitation opinion 2 according to the opinions of this meeting. It is expected to be released in early June and a discussion meeting for soliciting opinions will be held in the middle and late June. It is expected to be released in July.

      From the mobile terminal companies, solution providers, parts and components companies, supporting products companies, and testing organizations, 38 companies such as Apple, Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung, ATL, and Ruieng attended the meeting, among which there were 17 organizations. There are 5 participating establishment units, 16 non-editing units, and 69 participants.
