When Apple launched the iPhone X last fall, the company also announced the launch of the special Apple magic wireless charging pad AirPower, which lets you charge three devices faster than the traditional Qi wireless charger.
But now, nine months later, AirPower is still not here, and it's unclear when it will actually be available.
That's a bit unusual for apple, which in recent years has taken full advantage of announcements about new iphones and other products by making those devices available for preorders in weeks or less.
Even the pricey iPhone X, with its sophisticated FaceID technology, takes three months to put into people's hands, from announcements to availability.
Despite the delay, the HomePod, which was announced in June 2017, finally went on sale in February, a gap of eight months.
